Turning colder

8th February 2022

After a very warm January it's good to see more snow on the hills are for the forecast to be colder.

January was a tough for delivering courses and we were foreced to cancel a number of skiing courses, due to a lack of snow. The limited snow we did have was actually surprisingly good, it's just that we could have done with more! Nonetheless, our really experienced and skilled team managed to deliver lots of excellent training and we've had lots of positive feedback.

Hopefully the weather will play ball for the remainder of winter...... I suspect not though!

Winter courses

I had a great time at Aviemore for my 2 days introduction to winter skills course. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and always made time to answer everyone's question. Thorough checks on the correct kit and being prepared for a day in the mountains made me aware of a couple flaws in my own preparation. I have now corrected these and feel more confidant of the hills as a result. Very worth while doing so don't hesitate to sign up and learn how to be safe.
