Ok, surely enough is enough?

It's been an amazing winter but with temperatures reaching high teens in the glens today, it's time to say goodbye to winter and hello to summer.

Over the last few weeks we've continued to have teams out walking, ski touring and winter climbing (even this week!). We've also had a couple of rock climbing teams out too, at Kingussie Crag and at Logiehead on the Moray Coast.

Keeping is busy for the last few weeks has been work for Mountain and Water Safety Specialists on a large feature film being shot in various locations around Scotland that required lots of mountaineering and moving water safety.

For the keen beans amongst us there are still winter adventures to be had. For us, it's time to enjoy an endless summer.....

Winter 2023

Check out our great range of winter skills, ski touring and winter climbing courses.

Winter courses

I would definitely recommend using them for navigation skills. I booked A1 day course. Communication with Dave before the course was good as well.. Dave or guide was very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at ease. Explaining what was going to happen in the day and asked us too what we would like to get out of the course. Dave was great at explaining and giving instruction and I actually surprised myself that I manahed to correctly follow them too. . When I'm ready to go in to the next level of navigation. Cairngorm Adventure Guides will be my first go to to find a course. A great day and I don't feel so useless at using a map and compass now. Woo hoo!
