4th February 2018

The great run of weather and good mountain conditions continues!

Today, Sunday, was another one of those days that makes it all worth while. Social media is going into overdrive just now as everyone shares their weekend adventures. Hopefully you made it out too.

At CAG we're in full winter courses mode with lots of teams out doing winter skills, winter mountaineering and ski touring as well as a number of private/ bespoke courses. Regular updates are on our Facebook and Instagram feeds.

Having the skills to be safe in the mountains means getting out when it's grim and practicing, that way on days like today you can really enjoy it.

We're pretty much at capacity now for Feb, just the odd place here and there on ski touring courses. There's plenty life left in winter yet, so hopefully we'll see you in March if you're not already coming to join us this month.

Dave was an excellent hiking guide who took us on incredible hikes in the Highlands while ensuring our safety and entertainment. He was considerate of our hiking experience level and adjusted the pace accordingly. Despite hiking over 6 miles and up and down beautiful trails, including reaching the top of a decently sized mountain, we maintained a comfortable and enjoyable pace. Dave was also friendly and accommodating, making the experience even more pleasant. You can hire Dave or one of his team for a reasonable fee and enjoy hiking in the Highlands. Forget staring at your phone or a map. Let Dave or his team lead the way.
