After a fairly driech weekend (well done to all those who survived and kept smiling) it's turned out to be a really cracking week.

For us it's been more winter skills, winter mountaineering and ski touring. Although at times challenging, conditions have also been excellent for learning and practicing new skills on. We've had a mix of private winter skills teams, women only groups and our open courses all out making the most of it.

It feels though it'll be a late winter this year. Fingers crossed for skiing right though until May!

Winter courses

I thoroughly enjoyed my ski touring course with Cairngorm Adventure Guides. Conditions were difficult but Dave and Charlie were brilliant. Knowledgeable, professional and good company.
